Gentle, Calming Cat Grooming Services Right at Your Doorstep
Every cat owner knows how feisty cats can be during a bath or a grooming session. What is supposed to be a relaxing shower becomes a tug-of-war between you and your cat, with constant hissing, scratching and shedding making it worse. You may have considered visiting the vet or going to an onsite grooming company, but that may not be feasible either if you don’t have enough time or your cat feels stressed during car rides.
That’s why our mobile cat grooming is the most accessible and convenient option for you. In simple words, we bring the full salon experience to your doorstep. You don’t need to commute or force your cat into a cat carrier. We’ve equipped our van with professional cat grooming tools, including grooming tables, nail clippers, cat-safe shampoos, conditioners, and fresh water.
Whether your cat has a gentle or timid nature, our groomers ensure a soothing grooming session for your cat. Book our services today.

How We Provide a Comfortable Experience to Aggressive Cats
Metro Pets Grooming has dealt with cats of different natures and demeanors. Some cats may get defensive, timid or even aggressive while experiencing new environments or being groomed which is completely normal. Our groomers have been trained in calming cats down during the session. Here are some of the ways we do that:

We Lovingly Pamper Your Cat As If It’s Ours!
We treat every cat like family. Our trained groomers know just how to keep your cat calm & cozy.
How Often Should You Book Cat Grooming Services?
The truth is that there is no fixed grooming schedule for a cat. It highly depends on the cat’s breed, coat length and personality. If you have a short-haired cat, we recommend that you book grooming services every 8 to 12 weeks. But if you have a long-haired breed like a Maine Coon or a Persian cat, we suggest getting it groomed every 4 to 6 weeks to keep their coat healthy and soft.
A common misconception people have is that cat grooming serves no purpose beyond improving the cat’s looks. In reality, regular grooming is one of the best ways you can keep your cat healthy. In every session, our groomer checks for potential health problems like allergies, irritation, dental infections and so on. By identifying problems early, you can take timely action and maintain your cat’s health.

Any other question? Not listed here? Give us a buzz!. Our Experts are always here for guidance and information seeking,.
How long does a cat grooming session usually take?
If you want to book your session with Metro Pets Grooming, you will have to call us to schedule an appointment. A cat grooming session generally lasts approximately 1-2 hours depending on the cat’s coat, condition, breed & of course temperament.
Do you require vaccinations for cats before grooming?
Yes, New York City requires every cat to have a rabies vaccination. We also recommend other cat vaccines like FVRCP.
Can I stay with my cat during the grooming session?
You are welcome and encouraged to stay near the van. However, we advise against being inside the van during the session, as the space is limited and the groomer needs full attention while using professional equipment.
Do you sedate cats for grooming?
No. As professional groomers, we never sedate cats. We use behavior-based calming techniques like positive reinforcement or pheromone sprays to calm cats during the session. Sedation is only done in extreme cases by licensed veterinarians in a controlled clinical environment.
